The focus at Osina is not on building a house or an apartment, but on creating a home which is more than a physical place. This philosophy of appreciation for design and attention to detail permeates all of the work created at Osina and all of our relationships with investors, partners, stakeholders, and customers. That same commitment now extends to attainable homeownership: Osina Development is the first developer in the State of Colorado to be funded under CHFA’s Drive It Home program, with construction underway on Wolff Street Flats, a 23-unit affordable for-sale condominium project in West Denver.

Urban Infill Residential Development in Denver
Osina Development is focused on urban infill, ground-up development of multifamily projects in Denver and other Colorado communities. Duplexes, rowhomes, and small-scale apartment and condominium projects are all product types where Osina can implement its design and development philosophy. Osina works closely with a select group of relationships including leading architects, contractors and designers to deliver well-designed and high-quality residences to our customers. Osina is also an active affordable housing developer: Wolff Street Flats, a 23-unit for-sale affordable condominium project in West Denver, is the first development in Colorado funded under CHFA’s Drive It Home program.

Bio
Scott Speil, Principal
Scott Speil is the founder and principal of Osina Development, a Denver-based real estate development firm founded in 2016 to pursue high-quality residential development throughout the Denver metropolitan area, with a focus on urban infill, multi-unit, for-sale housing. Since founding Osina, Scott has completed six multi-unit development projects as developer and has participated in multiple additional projects in partnership with Osina’s preferred builder. Osina is currently building Wolff Street Flats, a 23-unit affordable condominium project financed by the State of Colorado (DOLA), the City of Denver (HOST), and CHFA — the first project in Colorado funded under CHFA’s Drive It Home program.
Prior to founding Osina, Scott spent four years with Amstar, a private equity real estate investment and development firm, where he led the development team for Skyline Residences, a high-rise condominium project in Kyiv, Ukraine, led a product redesign of Zlota 44, Amstar’s 52-story Daniel Libeskind–designed residential tower in Warsaw, and asset managed a six-project portfolio across Russia and Ukraine. Earlier in his career he worked at Partners Capital Solutions, a private real estate lender, and spent six years in Russia with IntermarkSavills in investment, development, and advisory roles. Scott holds an MBA and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.
